About Thunder Hill Cowboy Church

At Thunder Hill Cowboy Church (THCC), faith meets community in a real and down-to-earth way.
We’re a fellowship of believers who come together to worship, serve, and grow — not in perfection, but in purpose. Whether you wear boots, sneakers, or spurs, you’ll find open doors, open hearts, and the kind of grace that meets you right where you are.

Our Mission

At the heart of Thunder Hill Cowboy Church is a simple truth: we love God, we love people, and we seek to live that love out loud.
We carry a passion for Jesus that’s as steady as the open prairie and as welcoming as a neighbor’s front porch.

THCC is a baptized group of believers who love God the Father,
Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit the three in One. We worship in
Spirit and truth and love all people the way Christ does. We study the
Word of God and prayerfully committed to promoting the movement of
God’s Spirit within the Western Heritage Culture through worship,
evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and fellowship.

We are members of the SBC and our beliefs/teachings align with
SBC’s published statements of faith. http://bfm.sbc.net/bfm2000/

Our mission keeps us grounded in the Gospel and focused on what truly matters — honoring God, serving others, and living out faith in a way that reaches beyond the church walls.

Our Vision

Every trail leads somewhere, and ours leads toward sharing Christ’s love far and wide.
We believe the Good News isn’t meant to stay penned up inside — it’s meant to ride out into the world through lives changed by grace.

THCC’s vision is to reach all people not just of the Western Culture but
from all walks of life with the gospel of Jesus Christ. So that we can
make disciples to make disciples to grow God’s Kingdom.

That vision reminds us daily why we gather, why we serve, and why we go.
Through worship, community, and discipleship, Thunder Hill Cowboy Church strives to be a light for anyone seeking faith, purpose, and a place to belong.

Our Heart

We don’t claim to have it all figured out — but we know the One who does.
Our church is a home for the hurting, the hopeful, and the hardworking.
Together, we ride toward the same goal: to glorify God, grow in faith, and share His love with a world that could use a little more kindness.
